Dragonwilds Runite Locations & Mining Guide

Runite Ore is live in the Scorned Wilderness. Mining it requires an Adamant Pickaxe or better. Jagex confirms the region and tool gate, but Dragonwilds Hub does not yet have independently verified node coordinates, respawn timing, or yield.

Where to find Runite

Follow Regicide into the Scorned Wilderness, then use the live terrain, Journal, and gathering indicators to locate deposits. Build storage and repair access in The Hub; building is disabled in the Raid area.

Runite is gathered during the Scorned Wilderness route rather than from the four earlier open-world regions. Check side rooms, mineable walls, and extraction-point branches instead of sprinting directly between quest markers. Use the community Ashenfall interactive map with its Scorned Wilderness filters as a visual companion, but verify markers against the current build before planning a long farm.

Efficient Runite route

1. Start from The Hub with an empty ore stack, repaired Adamant Pickaxe, food, and a ranged fallback.
2. Clear each Raid section methodically on the first pass and mark Runite deposits before spending the ore.
3. Bank at accessible extraction points rather than carrying the complete run's materials into Kuldra.
4. Mine Luminite on the same pass when capacity allows; both materials use the Adamant Pickaxe gate.
5. On repeat runs, prioritise branches with confirmed ore and skip optional combat only when the live reset state makes the route safe.

The September 25-targeted 1.0.0.5 patch includes fixes for second-attempt Raid AI and respawn behaviour. Repeat-run farming can therefore differ before and after the patch; check known issues before treating a low-enemy route as intended.

Mining checklist

• Carry a repaired Adamant Pickaxe or better.
• Leave room for Runite, Luminite, quest objects, and unfamiliar Raid drops.
• Keep food and a second combat range ready for the region's mixed enemies.
• Use Mining detection and gathering spells when their live indicators are reliable.
• Return scarce material to storage before experimenting with new recipes.

From Runite to Magic Wood

Runite supports Rune-tier progression. Magic Wood requires a Rune Logging Axe or better, so metal progression comes before efficient Magic Wood gathering. Luminite uses the same Adamant Pickaxe minimum as Runite.
