Icthlarin's Little Helper sits deep in Umbral Sands progression. If the route appears to stop, the usual answer is another regional prerequisite rather than an unmarked shortcut.

Prerequisites

Before treating this as your active objective, plan to have:

• completed Black Knight's Fortress and defeated the Black Knight Titan;
• entered Umbral Sands through the Bastion route;
• advanced the Moon Garou regional storyline and reputation objectives;
• completed the initial Fight Cave and Fuzan encounter.

Use the quest tracker and map together. Selecting the quest keeps its current objective visible, while lodestones reduce the cost of returning to widely separated desert objectives.

Recommended preparation

1. Carry water and protection for Sunscorch travel.
2. Repair your primary combat equipment before leaving your base.
3. Pack food, ammunition, and runes for more than one encounter.
4. Activate convenient lodestones as you cross the region.
5. Keep a few inventory slots open for quest items and rewards.

Progression tips

Moon Garou reputation work is part of the path, so clear their relevant camps and objectives rather than repeatedly checking the final destination. If an objective does not update, verify the active quest in your journal and retrace the immediately preceding tracked step before travelling across the whole desert.
