Crossplay and invite codes

When loading a multiplayer world, the host can choose whether to enable crossplay. Enabled worlds appear in the world browser. Dedicated servers also expose a crossplay option.

To invite a friend, open the in-game pause menu and share the displayed code. The other player enters it in the world browser. Follow the step-by-step crossplay guide for hosting, joining, and dedicated-server notes.

Saves and purchases

Crossplay allows players from different supported platforms to join the same enabled world. It does not make store purchases or save files transferable between platforms. Steam Cloud covers Steam saves, while a Steam purchase does not grant a separate Jagex Launcher copy.

What launched with the console versions

All platforms launched with version 1.0 content, including Scorned Wilderness, Regicide, Kuldra, Rune-tier gear, Wands, combat changes, and the new skill-tree abilities. Start with What's New in 1.0 rather than treating console as a reduced content version.

The standard price remains £24.99 / $29.99. Digital Deluxe content is primarily cosmetic and decorative rather than an automatic combat advantage.
