Dragonwilds continues after version 1.0 with an October minor update and the larger Luminance update in December. Details beyond the confirmed features below remain unannounced.
Coming in October 2026 (minor update)
The October 2026 minor update is planned to include:
- new quests;
- Quest Tab improvements;
- new activities;
- more enemy variety;
- a new Magic tree seed;
- bug fixes.
No exact October release date has been announced. The Magic tree seed page will be updated after the feature is live.
December 2026 — Luminance update
The Luminance update is planned for December 2026. It adds Prayer and a new region. Nothing else is confirmed here, and this page will not speculate about the region, Prayer mechanics or rewards.
2027
The Shadows of Ashenfall expansion and a Hardcore difficulty mode have been announced for 2027, but no further details are available yet.
