Patches 1.0.0.5 and 1.0.0.6 fix major launch problems with multiplayer, saves, the Scorned Wilderness Raid and Epic Games Store crossplay. The newer patch adds preventative save fixes, but Jagex is still working on recovery for saves that were already corrupted.

Patch 1.0.0.5 — released 25 September 2026

  • Fixed multiplayer connection failures involving three or more players.
  • Stopped console players from corrupting their saves by joining modded dedicated servers.
  • Fixed Scorned Wilderness Raid AI respawn problems on a second attempt.
  • Fixed a bug that let players skip a Raid respawn point after dying.
  • Fixed the Abyssal Whip recipe not unlocking for existing characters.
  • Fixed a PS5 crash tied to creating a crossplay world with a password.
  • Added DLSS and FSR upscaling on Windows and Xbox Game Pass.
  • Primordial Hearts, Imbued Granite Maul Heads and Chinchompa Skulls can now be destroyed or stored.
  • Luminite Ore can now be crafted into Divine Rocks.
  • Summon Shelter is now available in the Scorned Wilderness Hub.

Patch 1.0.0.6 — released 29 September 2026

  • Epic Games Store players are back online and crossplay works again for them.
  • Fixed leaving the Edit Appearance menu before the character save completed. Jagex describes this as preventative.
  • Fixed a PC issue where incorrect filenames could be accepted as character files.
  • Addressed some corrupted world saves that no longer appeared in the menu.
  • Crash fix.

After the patch, Jagex acknowledged reports that progress and inventory do not reliably carry over when hopping between worlds on consoles and PC Game Pass. A hotfix is in testing; follow the save corruption and lost-progress page for the current status.
